What TradeFinch does

TradeFinch keeps your Google Business Profile working for you in the background.

Your Google profile is one of the main ways customers decide who to call when they search for e.g. "Plumber near me". We make sure it stays active, accurate, and up to date so you show up more often and look trustworthy - without you having to manage it yourself.

There are no dashboards to learn and no tools to use. We handle everything quietly through a simple app on your phone.

How the free Google Profile check works

Our free check looks at your Google Business Profile and highlights anything that could be holding it back.

Connecting your Google account

To manage your profile properly, we need access to your Google Business Profile. We request this during Onboarding, immediately after you sign up.

When you connect your Google account, we can:

Post updates for you
Reply to reviews on your behalf

We only access what’s needed to manage your profile. We never see personal emails or private Google data. You can disconnect at any time.

Installing the TradeFinch app

The TradeFinch app is how everything works - and it's designed to stay out of your way.

How your website gets built

When you sign up, we build you a clean, professional website using the information already on your Google Business Profile - your business name, services, service areas, contact details, and photos.

You don't need to do anything. We'll let you know in the app when it's ready, with a link to preview it.

Can I make changes to it?

Yes - if you want anything changed just let us know in the app and we'll update it for you. (Unless it's overly complex or complicated, which you don't need).

Do I need to use the TradeFinch website?

No. If you already have a website you're happy with, you can keep using it. The TradeFinch website is a bonus included in your premium plan. Many customers use it as their main site, others use it as a backup, and some don't use it all. Everything else in TradeFinch works regardless.

Does the website stay in sync with my Google Profile?

Yes. We use all the latest info from your Google Profile to make sure you're always showing off your best work, with the right information.

What happens to the website if I cancel?

The website stays live for a short period after cancellation so you have time to sort an alternative if you need one. Your Google profile and everything on it (reviews, photos, posts) stays with you permanently - we never owned any of it.

Do I own the website?

The website is hosted and maintained by TradeFinch as part of your plan. While you're a customer, it's yours to use and share. The content on it (your business info, photos, text) is yours. If you cancel, the site will eventually be taken down, but all the underlying content remains on your Google profile.
